DAY 1: Late Arrival in Cape Town
On your late evening arrival in Cape Town, you will be met at the airport, and transferred by 7-seater microbus to your accommodation in Camps Bay.

Nestled between the mountainous ranges of Lions Head, Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles, overlooking the endless vistas of the mighty Atlantic Ocean, Camps Bay Retreat is set in one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

DAY 2: Cape Town
Morning at leisure to explore your surroundings.
Late afternoon transfer to Table Mountain for “sundowners”. A unique revolving cable car will take you to the summit from where breathtaking views await you.
A traditional South African dinner will be enjoyed at the famous “Marco’s African Place” restaurant which is situated in the Bo Kaap area.

DAY 3: Cape Town
After breakfast, depart on a full day Peninsula Tour via the popular Chapman’s Peak Drive. At Boulders Beach, experience an up-close encounter with the Penguins from your sea kayak ! At Cape Point, enjoy an exhilarating speedboat ride around the Point to view it as few people have before. Part of your day will also be spent visiting Simon’s Town, the Kalk Bay fishing harbour, Noordhoek arts and crafts and of course the splendour of the Good Hope Nature Reserve.

Lunch to be enjoyed at the “Two Oceans Restaurant” situated at Cape Point and uniquely positioned overlooking False Bay. Enjoy these spectacular views, while sampling delights freshly harvested from the ocean. This restaurant prides itself on its seafood, but also serves salads, pastas and meat dishes prepared to perfection. And you may be lucky to spot a whale in the bay?
Time permitting, visit the internationally renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on your return. The estate covers 528 hectares and supports a diverse fynbos flora and natural forest. The cultivated garden (60 hectares) displays collections of South African plants, particularly those from the winter rainfall region of the country.
Dinner to be enjoyed at “De Waterblommetjie Restaurant” set on the outskirts of the spectacular Castle of Good Hope, the oldest historic building in South Africa.

DAY 4: Cederberg Mountains
After an early breakfast, depart inland towards the Cederberg mountains to your overnight accommodation at Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve, once home to the Bushmen. You will have the unique experience of overnighting in a “cave suite”. Activities include a rock painting tour, canyon sundowner, game-viewing drive, night drive and stargazing.

DAY 5: Winelands
After breakfast depart via the beautiful town of Tulbagh to Franschhoek. In Tulbagh and the surrounding areas, enjoy olive/olive oil tastings as well as wine/cap classique tastings at Rijks Ridge, Twee Jonge Gesellen and Kloovenburg.
Continue towards Franschhoek, where you will check in to you accommodation. Set in the picturesque wine-producing valley of Franschhoek, the Franschhoek Country House & Villas offers luxury and indulgence.

This restored manor house and former perfumery dates back to 1890, and is situated on the outskirts of the village in the Cape Winelands, surrounded by enchanting vineyards and majestic mountains.

Lunch and afternoon at leisure in Franschhoek. Linger awhile and savour the hospitality, ambience and variety of 28 great restaurants. A host of shops and galleries line the Main Street, providing a wonderful choice of antiques, a world class collection of artworks and interesting bric-a-brac to browse through. Dinner tonight to be enjoyed at Franchhoek Country House’s in-house restaurant. “Monneaux” is an extra-ordinary success, having been in the country’s Top 100 list for six years consecutively, on the Top 10 list for two years and, last year, won the American Express Platinum Award for fine dining.

Day 6: Winelands
This morning, an early departure for the Grabouw-Elgin Valley, where a quad-biking experience awaits you. This experience, in association with Cape Nature Conservation, offers a unique adventure amidst thousands of plant species, spectacular views, historical sites and pioneer trekker routes
Upon your return, visit the KWV Wine Emporium in Paarl. A guide with in-depth knowledge will host you on a journey through the world of wine and brandy as you tour the KWV cellar complex, one of the world’s largest, including the awesome Cathedral Cellar. A wine tasting and picnic at Laborie Wine Estate, an original French Huguenot wine farm, to follow.
For dinner tonight, a truly spectacular evening awaits you. Dinner at Moyo at Spier, unlike any other restaurant, is set in Spier’s gardens. It is a magical dining experience to be savoured under a starlit sky - all in all a sensory extravaganza! The tree-lined garden is filled with Bedouin tents and gazebos made from wrought iron, and tree houses almost reaching the clouds - clad with beautiful hand crafted copper water features. Excellent service and entertainment rounds off a perfect evening !

DAY 7: Oudtshoorn
After an early breakfast, depart for Barrydale along the popular Route 62, stopping en route to visit Ronnie’s Sex Shop. The graffiti and business cards stuck to the walls of this odd pub, is a must read and for those wanting to cool down, a cuddle puddle is available. Continue towards Calitzdorp for Boplaas and De Krans Port-Wine tasting. Calitzdorp is the Port Wine Capital of South Africa.
Arrive in Oudtshoorn and check-in to De Opstal Country Lodge, which is within easy reach of tourist attractions such as the Cango Wildlife Ranch and the Cango Ostrich Show Farm. The Lodge consists of a group of typical Little Karoo farm buildings, beautifully restored and fitted with modern conveniences, set in lush, tranquil garden surroundings. The complex has a swimming pool and a rustic restaurant, where traditional breakfasts and hearty farm-style dinners are served. The entire complex has an old world ambience with subtle modern touches, which ensure a luxurious stay. Traditional dinner at De Opstal.

DAY 8: Oudtshoorn / Knysna / Plettenberg Bay
After breakfast check-out and visit the famous Cango Caves and the Cango Wildlife Ranch, where you will discover a variety of animals seldom seen, giving you the thrill of a lifetime.
An up-close cheetah experience is not to be missed!

Depart for Plettenberg Bay via the Outeniqua Pass to George where you will board the very popular Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe steam train, which runs along the coast between George and Knysna. The ride goes through breathtaking landscape with stunning views of fern-covered mountain tops, wide river plains with crystal-clear water, swamps, lagoons, endless sand beaches and the deep-blue sea.

Upon arrival in Knynsa, you will have a little time at leisure to explore the Knysna Waterfront, a development that boasts fine vintage wine, fresh seafood, curios and a magical indoor market, guaranteed to provide that extra special gift.
You will then depart for Plettenberg Bay, and check-in to Hog Hollow Country Lodge. This is a 4-star lodge, set on the edge of an indigenous forest in a private nature reserve, with panoramic views of the surrounding indigenous forests, valleys and mountains, in one of the most beautiful parts of Africa.

The 15 suites all have private decks overlooking these vistas and offer guests relaxed luxury in an unforgettable setting. The Main House forms a communal dining area surrounded by a long blue swimming pool, that visually flows into the valley below, and a boma where nightly fires are lit. Other attractions include a forest sauna and privately sited forest shower with incredible views over the valley.

DAY 9: Plettenberg Bay / Mossel Bay
After breakfast check-out and depart for Monkeyland, a unique sanctuary which caters for several species of primate, that are not caged, but are free to move about the forest, and do so in harmony. Here a one-hour walking safari with the primates can be enjoyed.

Lunch at the “Banana Gialla a la carte restaurant”. Here you can enjoy a delicious meal or have a drink at the bar while viewing the monkeys as they chatter and swing through the trees.
After lunch, depart for Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, where you will check-in to luxury tented suites on wooden decks, offer breathtaking views of the river and tranquil mountainous surroundings, which are situated in a bird sanctuary with free roaming animals.
Late afternoon game drive or game walk, and dinner in the “Fire Place” Restaurant to follow.

DAY 10: Mossel Bay / Cape Town
This morning, experience the real African thrill on elephant back safari (optional) or enjoy a unique African experience guided by skilled, knowledgeable and well-trained guides. From fresh brewed coffee at the camp fire, to getting up close and personal with rhino's, lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebra's and many more.
Check out after breakfast and depart for George Airport to catch your flight to Cape Town.
